Friday 10 December - no class due to Festive lunch

Tuesday 14 December - last class of 2021 at the Rochford Methodist Church Hall

Friday 17 December - last classes of 2021 at the WI hall

2022 

Friday 7 January - one class only at the WI hall from 11 am

Tuesday 11 January - 1 pm class at the Rochford Methodist Church hall

Friday 14 January - 11 am class only at the WI hall

CURRENT CHANGES

Your committee has been working hard to plan for 2022 

Firstly we have bingo dates for the year - see the side bar for a link to the dates

Keep fit - We now have a Tuesday class from 1pm at the Rochford Methodist Church in North Street.  At all times we try to keep you safe so there will be hand gel available and a door or window open to keep a free flow of air.

All Members were invited to the Festive lunch and every space has now been taken.

At the beginning of 2022 we shall be planning the trips and shall let everyone know as soon as dates and destinations have been finalised.

At last we are almost getting back to normal.

Activities so far:

Keep fit classes at the WI Hall on Fridays - currently we are running two classes i.e. an 11 am one and a 12 noon one.  This is because we have to limit the number of people in the hall to ensure we are socially distanced.

We are taking bookings for each class and anyone interested should call Derrick on 07515805156.  Failure to book could result in being turned away and we don't want anyone to be disappointed.

Remember to bring water as the WI kitchen is closed to users.

Keep fit plans - we are trying to arrange a Tuesday class to replace the extra, noon  Friday class.  As soon as we have details, we shall let everyone know.

Bingo at Millview House - yes, this will be returning on Saturday 18 September - see the separate bingo page for details.

Christmas Meal - we are making plans for a Christmas meal but it is currently too early to confirm details.

Trips: All being well, these will return next year with a full programme

GOOD NEWS AT LAST!

We are coming back starting with Friday Keep Fit sessions.

All members should have received a letter by now asking them to confirm if they with to continue their membership and whether or not they are interested in attending keep fit.

Numbers for keep fit will have to be limited at first so there will be a booking system in place.

GOOD NEWS FOR OUR MEMBERS

It has been a long year for everyone since we locked down in March 2020 but we are hopeful that 2021 will bring opportunities for us all to to get together.

In the meantime, we have been starting to hold Zoom meetings.  If you want to know more e.g. the time and date, sign up to  our email group at recycledteens2@aol.com.

Also, one of our members, Brian, has come up with the idea of a book exchange.  He has kindly offered to act as librarian.  Again, more details via our email group.

We can tell you that all coach trips for the year have been cancelled and that Keep Fit is on hold for the time being..

Membership renewal - if your membership was up for renewal this year, don't worry you are covered until the end of 2020.
